Last year I had one main knitting project, Evenstar.  Susan Pandorf created a wonderful pattern for this shawl.  I admit there were challenging parts but I loved it.  I worked on it in my chemo chair, waiting at doctor appointments, and while home recovering from surgery.  It gave me a chance to get away from my health worries and enjoy the process.   I spun the yarn from some beautiful grey merino and silk fiber from HipStrings.  It is incredibly soft and luscious and held the stitch definition so well.   You can see my version of Evenstar at any of my fiber fests as it will be along for the ride.  I am also working a kit of yarn so you too can make an Evenstar!  Next up is The Rocking Horse Farm festival on June 4th. Stop by and say hi!
