5 skeins of squishy DK weight yarn, total yardage is 1,260 yards of handspun yarn. 3 skeins of white in a soft springy Polwarth wool. 2 skeins of variegated Abandon and Temptation. Aeria is a shawl that is generous sized and one that can be worn in a variety of ways. My picture of the finished shawl uses other colored yarn for the leaves, this kit has different colored yarn for the leaves, see the pictures of the yarn. The leaves are two variegated skeins of deep blue, purples and greens and light greens, purples and grey. The pattern uses German Short Rows which I found to be my favorite way of doing short rows.
NOTE: This is for the yarn only, not the finished shawl. The pattern for Aeria can be found on Ravelry, it is by Linnea Ornstein.
