Approximately 2,240 yards of glorious merino silk blend yarn to create the Evenstar shawl. This is a special kit as I spun it as a gradient. Skein 1 is a light silvery grey, skeins 2 and 3 have one ply of the silvery grey and one ply of the Lady Grey, skeins 4 - 9 are pure Lady Grey. Starting the lightest skein at the beginning center of the shawl and working out will give you a soft gradient with gentle movement. If you are a Lord of the Rings fan, this shawl is filled with imagery from the tales, including Arwen's necklace and castle windows. The yarn is soft and drapey. I loved this project.
