This is a stunning skein of teal greens, silvery greys, deep green and hints of purpley brown. There are 430 yards of heavy fingering/Sport weight yarn. It has a beautiful drapey quality and since it has a hint of Firestar in it a soft glimmer. This is 30% Manx Loaghtan, 30% Polwarth, 30% Mulberry Silk and 10% Firestar.
I find it interesting to learn about new to me breeds of sheep. the Manx Loaghtan is a rare breed of sheep native to the Isle of Man (an island between Great Britain and Ireland). They usually have four or even six horns. All I can say is this combo of fiber was heavenly. I will hate to see it go, but someone is going to be very lucky to work with this skein of yarn.
